Research and planning- network responses

I asked people on twitter to answer a question for me, so that had a random sample of people to give me their views and opinions. Also, as twitter is a social network site the majority of people using it will be teens aged 14-21 and my target audience is 14-17. therefore,  it will help me make a magazine suitable for my target audience.

Research and Planning; audience questions

research and planing; double page spread research

I like how the Image spreads across both pages. The title is bold and in the bottom of the pages which is different as they are normally at the top. The information is in a box which makes it easier to find and focus on, however I don't like how it doesn't blend and the colour scheme doesn't look good with the background.
The image is very big and eye catching which I like then the text is on the opposite side, it makes it look organised. The large 'L' across the page looks good as its like the title of the page, its quite unique and thats the look I want for my magazine.
I like the font of the title on this double page spread, it looks like it represents the story thats being told as the picture matches it and the story is only short which makes it more interesting because the image and title looks like it will be a sad as shed in a bed and the title has a heart under it.
This layout will be similar to mine as its a question and answer article, so it will have similar elements. I don't like the colours as the image with her make up and outfit she looks a bit dark whereas the text is pink and while which I don't find attractive.

For my double page spread I will be using different things from each of these pages.

research and planning; Contents page research

This layout for a contents page looks good as its very simple which is important because sometimes they are too packed and full of images whereas on this layout everything is quite spaced out so you know when it's the end of a sentence and a new one begins then the page which is linked with the image is on the other side and in a highlighted box. when doing my contents page, I think Im going to use this style as its easy to follow and eye catching, also everything is black and white then the page numbers and heading is in a pink which directs your eyes to the colour that stands out on the page.

This layout is very fun and different, it looks good with the image being based around the text, it acts as if its a frame for the text. However, the way the 'contents' heading is presented is quirky which would suit my genre of music as i'm doing the top charts, its a mixed genre and includes different artists show it would demonstrate how its different and a unique magazine. Im not to keen on how the text is all squished together. It has a very basic colour scheme, black and white and then the model is the only real colour on the page so she stands out
